2011 Book Survey: Part Two

1.New favorite book blog you found in 2011?
Any that give away free stuff. Just kidding. I commented on some here and there, but I didn't really look too much into depth with any. I will most certainly try harder for next year.

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2011?
I think I had a fun time gushing about the River of Time books. It was fun to talk about the enchanting knights! :D

3. Best discussion you had on your blog?
Best discussion was the Waterfall Wednesdays for Lisa T. Bergren's Waterfall book (book one in the River of Time Trilogy). I thoroughly enjoyed those five weeks!

4. Most thought provoking review of discussion you read on somebody else's blog?
I suppose, a recent one I read, was one that compared The Hunger Games to the River of Time. It said the River of Time books were the Christian Hunger Games and that the blogger wanted Katniss to recognize a higher power throughout the books like Gabi does. That was cool. This is the link:

5. Best even that you participated in?
I had two, but only one was really blogging. I blogged about Nation Novel Writing Month, which I think was a great event, and I am glad I participated (and won!). :D But the best event was the Waterfall Wednesdays. Not only did I win books, but I got to talk about them! And people commented on my blog! yay! :DDD

6. Best moment of book blogging in 2011?
Going to sound like a geek, but when Lisa T. Bergren commented on my blog posts! Oh, it was so exciting! :DDD

7. Most popular post this year on your blog?
Waterfall Wednesdays, Discussion four got the most comments. :D

8. Post you wish got a little more love?
Would it be too much to say, all of them?

9. Best bookish discovery?
I have two: Booksneeze, which is a program through Thomas Nelson Publishing where I get free books to review (who doesn't love stuff that's free, especially books?).  And, the River of Time books (I know, I know... you want me to shut up about it already, right?) . :D After all, I got to participate in a lot of fun stuff with and there's the matter of meeting the enchanting Lord Greco... *sighs dreamily*

10. Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of the year?
My reading challenge was to read at least 100 books in one year. My list has 101! Also, my youth group had a goal to read the entire Bible in one year, and I along with three other people completed it! I feel accomplished!

Next Year:
1. One book you didn't get to in 2011 but will be your number one priority in 2012?
I have a couple: Goose Girl (two of my friends really wanted me to read this and I got in a gift exchange so, I'm set), the next book in the Theatre Illuminata books by Lisa Mantchev, and I think there might be more, but I'm totally blanking. Oh, and I probably should read that one book that I got for Christmas... two years ago.....

2. Book you are most anticipating in 2011?
Mortal by Ted Dekker and Tosca Lee. It's the second book in their Books of Mortals series. I. just. can't. wait!!!!! And it doesn't come out until June... :( Do these publishers want to kill their readers? *Death by waiting in anticipation for a book*

And if I happen to find (or buy) an e-reader device... Bourne by Lisa T. Bergren. I'm probably going to beg my friend to let me borrow her Kindle Fire and pay her to buy the e-book. I just can't wait!!!!

3. One thing you have to accomplish or do in your reading/blogging in 2012?
Read? Umm..... Get more free books? Umm... I don't know!!!!
